Every driver dreams of the victory lane moment, and no one wants to look shabby in front of the fans. Flamboro Speedway has partnered with The Branding Company in Brantford to offer specials on a variety of team wear and promotional items this racing season. Promotional products are the sixth pillar of marketing and an important tool in any sponsorship activity. Branded clothing, printed materials and logo'd merchandise are all easily recognizable at any speedway, and are proven to establish a firm relationship between giver and receiver. The Branding Company will be working with Flamboro Speedway to make opportunities available to local race teams and their sponsors, to create branded merchandise in an effort to promote local racing and racers along with local business and franchises. And the focus isn't just on team clothing. While it is important for teams to look presentable when representing their driver and sponsors, it is equally important to make an effort to connect with the fans. Smaller giveaway items like pens, hero cards, and key tags can go a long way in building a driver's reputation with the crowd, and in turn extend that connection to his or her sponsors. "It is our hope that drivers and sponsors will work together this summer to promote each other. It's one thing for a driver to put the sponsor's brand on their car, but it would be great to see the sponsor return the favour when they order pens for their office or shop, to include a line that says Proud Sponsor of ... at Flamboro Speedway. We hope that we can bring that opportunity to light, and help develop those partnerships." Flamboro Speedway and The Branding Company have created a link on the Competitors page that will allow race teams, associate sponsors and friends, to stay up to speed on all available specials this summer. The first special has already been posted - an offer for custom made ball caps, a staple accessory for any victory lane. More offers will follow week to week. These specials will not be exclusive to the teams of Flamboro Speedway, but will be advertised exclusively at Flamboro Speedway. The Branding Company or 'TBC,' is a team of
promotion solution specialists based in downtown Brantford, Ontario,
who work with companies of all sizes, from all across North America,
to create unique promotional and incentive programs. This past
January TBC was awarded with two Image Awards from the national
industry association, the PPPC (Promotional Products Professionals
of Canada). This brings the teams total to 3 national awards
in just it's first two years of business, competing in an industry
of more than 7,000 members. In addition to branded
