A New Season Begins - February 13, Drivers Meeting |

From Flamboro Speedway As speed weeks kicks off in Daytona leading into the great American race, so too will Flamboro Speedway launch its 50th Anniversary season. The annual Drivers' Meeting will be on Sunday February 13th, hosted at the Waterdown Legion Hall, 79 Hamilton Street North, Waterdown. google map Registration will open at 11am. The agenda for this meeting is similar to previous years: To welcome drivers back to Flamboro Speedway, celebrating our 50th anniversary season; To update on speedway events and plans for the new season; To share a first-draft of the 2010 event schedule; and To review adjustments and changes to the rules packages for all home divisions - Late Model, Thunder Car and Mini Stock. The Driver Registration fee remains the same, $100 paid in full to register on the Sunday of the meeting. The fee will rise to $125 for all drivers who register after the meeting closes, ie. when speedway management leaves the building on Sunday. All drivers who plan to participate in the 2011 racing season at Flamboro Speedway will be required to have a valid registration, paid in full, before entering onto the speedway except where noted otherwise in the rules. All interested 2011 participants are encouraged to attend the meeting. Practice Day
is scheduled for April 16th at the speedway. There will be a
charge of $5 per person at the pit entrance. The opening day for the 2011 racing season is scheduled for the following week, Saturday April 23rd, weather permitting.
