Flamboro Speedway management is addressing a rise in driver concern over the new windshield banner announced one week ago.

Understanding that the announcement came late to the pre-season preparation of race cars, and that there are a number of teams who have included the windshield as part of their design or sponsor package, the speedway has made a change to its position on the new decoration.

The Flamboro Speedway Points Chase banner will be required on the car, on either the windshield or the car's hood.  The speedway is willing to work with and accommodate drivers who may have otherwise been inconvenienced.  The decal will become mandatory on the windshield as of 2009.
